Well, my trip to the fabric store was not successful. I did purchase fabric which I thought was going to work out, but when I got home and got it all washed and started cutting into it, the reality was, it just wasn't going to work. So after many phone calls to my consultant I decided to just put the same color border on it and use the fabric I bought for the back and finish it up. I am satasfied with the result. I think there were two main problems: my light fabric should have been a larger print, and second, the coordinating fabric just wasn't the right color. My daughter loves it though, so I'm sure that her friend will love it too. And it's the thought that counts, right?

It looks great. I like what you ended up doing with the border. Look on the bright side, you have all this cute, new fabric that you can do whatever you want with!
