He's 13!

This is what I do after everyone's in bed when we have a birthday the next day:

I hang streamers...

I hang homemade birthday signs...

I stay up late... (and it got much later than this!)

to finish birthday gifts...

"A" had a great birthday! Here's his new saxophone!

And his new saxophone quilt! (He's under there somewhere.)

Check out the lines that will help him make his bed straight (wishful thinking here!).

We went to the movies and out to dinner with his friends. We saw Journey to the Center of the Earth. Lots of action and fun for the kids. Lots of unbelieveable situations!

And when we set up their beds for the sleep over tonight, "A" wanted his new saxophone quilt and went and got it off of his bed! And check out the pillowcase I made to match. I'm so happy that he loves it!

Hey, Happy Birthday to your son. Thirteen is an important age. You made him a beautiful quilt, I love the setting you used. I can't wait to see the Journey to the Center of the Earth. That is one of my favorite books too. The way he makes his bed reminds me of my own son.
