Glad to say I found time to make some treats for my nieghbors and they are all safely delivered to their destinations. I picked up these cute boxes a few years ago after Christmas and tucked them away and forgot about them. I was so excited to find them a couple months ago. It worked out perfectly to fill them with homemade carmel corn. Quick, easy, and yummy!
Two of my three kids decorated the gingerbread house last night that I cooked up and assembled over the past week. (I wanted this to be an after the Thanksgiving meal tradition, but I never seem to get my act together, or remember.)
They split it right down the middle, each decorating half.
Oh how I do love gingerbread houses. I don't always take the time, and I'm so glad we did this year. The kids had a great time.
I'm realizing how important these traditions are to my kids, I need to make sure we fit these special traditions in each year. They make such fun memories.
Merry Christmas to all. Hope your holidays are warm and bright!

Those boxes are adorable! What a fun treat to give to your neighbors. I like the gingerbread house. My kids love that activity too but we are not consistent about doing it annually. Merry Christmas, Tina! I wish we were spending it together!
Your caramel corn is delish!
The kids did a great job on the gingerbread house.
Merry Christmas Tina! Your family is very blessed by your hard work and effort to make it a special time.
Merry Christmas my sister!! I love you!
Tell B, A and K (and J) that the Hiranos wish them also a Merry Christmas. We will miss having you here like last year. How about 2009?
It's snowing again here and we have had over a foot of snow already. Looks like a White Christmas here. Fun!
I love your gifts for your friends. The gingerbread houses are so cute! I love that they split the homes in half ala that Brady Bunch episode! ;)
