...with my sister. It was so fun to get on the phone and make some online purchases together. I'm so impressed with the Fat Quarter Shop...they had everything on its way to me the same day I placed my order! And everything was on sale.
I'm going to see my sister in April, so I get to bring her a fun pile of fabric then. The above picture is the pile that we bought together. And the picture below is a fat quarter pack of Minny Muu that I got with the Christmas money she gave me. I can't believe it took me until March to spend it!
I already have a sushi roll of Minny Muu, so these new purchases are just what I need to finally turn all this fun fabric into a quilt...someday :). Hopefully more sooner than later!
I was reminded on QuiltersDaily.com that Saturday is National Quilting Day! I was so happy to find that out because I already have some quilty plans with my little quilt group on Saturday! We're going to hit our local quilt shop and maybe a quilt exhibit. What a great way to spend the day!
And you better check back on Sunday, because it's my birthday and I feel like having a giveaway! I'll be on the look-out Saturday for a fun giveaway prize.
