Happy Zipper Pouch

I don't usually just sit down and make something just for fun with no purpose in mind.  But for some reason I've been looking at zipper pouch tutorials online recently and decided to try one.  There are several out there, including these 2: Skip To My Lou and Twelve 22 that stood out to me.

I have some zippers that have been calling to me...so I made this up the other day:

I love the fabric I pulled from my stash for this project.  I must have liked it originally, but I really like it with the orange lining and green zipper!  Something about it makes me happy.

And my phone just happens to fit in it perfectly, so until I find something better to put in it, my phone is enjoying it's new bag.

I love zippered pouches! Very cute and I think the fabric is very fun. An added bonus that you found a purpose for it.

Both are wonderful Tina. I've got a bunch of zippers from my sewing clothes days - I think these pouches would be a great way to use them up!

Can I just be a fly on your wall in your loft sometime? I've never learned how to attach a zipper and this looks like a fun project to try out. It was so fun hanging out this morning. Loved the stores! I'm totally inspired to get busy and I love my little 30's turnovers. I've got to borrow your jelly roll book sometime soon. Happy National Quilting day...
