Little Quilter

I'm so proud! I'm going to have a little quilting friend. My daughter is really taking a liking to sewing. Here she is working on a little mini quilt for her brother (whether he wants it or not).

She sews pretty straight, and is comfortable at the machine. I wasn't even in the room most of the time that she was sewing! I just had to give you a sneak peek. You'll get to see what she's working on in a later post.

She's also into making cards, another one of my hobbies. She called me the other day while I was out asking if she could use my sewing machine to stitch a little on a card she was making! I got a big kick out of that.

Wonderful. Way to go. I hope she stays with it. Can’t wait to see the finished product.
