It’s been a long time. I guess I took an unexpected blog break, although I was definitely slowing down before the break happened! Maybe I should have seen it coming.
Looking back I see I never even showed you Miss K’s finished quilt…oh yeah, it’s not really finished yet! I keep forgetting that it’s not really done. She’s had it on her bed for a few weeks now. There’s about 1/3 of the binding that still needs sewn down in the back. I need to snatch it back from her and get it done! But that’ll have to wait at least until next week!
Her room transformation is still going on. But I did go crazy during one 24 hour period while my husband was gone and decided to paint her room. It went from blue to grey. It actually went pretty well, and I was proud of myself for getting it all done from picking out the paint to having all the furniture back in her room before my husband got home. I considered it quite an accomplishment

I’ve got a few projects in the works to share over the next couple posts. But here’s one I finished this morning. I had a birthday lunch to go to today, so I made up a couple zippered pouches for my friends with a small gift card inside. I think I’ve figured out how to sew a decent zipper! Yippee!
Don’t hold your breath, but I should be back soon to show you some more fun stuff!

Yay, good to have you back. The quilt looks great. So fun and bright. I am so impressed you did all that painting and furniture moving yourself! Those little zipper pouches are so cute. I bet your friends loved them!
