My sister and I are working together on 2 identical quilts that are based on a quilt by Jane A. Stickle from 1863. She is making half the blocks and I am making half...making 2 of each block we produce. Brenda Papadakis drafted all the blocks and has a book called

So in an effort to keep up and some day finish the 169 blocks, not to mention the border (let's not even go there yet!) we set aside Wednesdays to work on our blocks. So that's what I should be doing right now, rather than posting this! Here's a picture of our progress so far:
