Little Artist

Miss K Designs has been busy. She sent off her ATC's(Artist Trading Cards) for the kid swap and is anxiously awaiting some to arrive addressed to her from Germany, Ohio, Missouri, Dubai, and Australia.

Here are the five she sent:

Each is an original artwork on a 2.5 by 3.5 piece of watercolor paper. As you can see it's an animal and insect series. It'll be fun to see what comes in the mail to her, all from 10 year old girls from all over.

When we were at my Mom and Dad's a couple weeks ago I got her some yarn while we were at JoAnn's one evening.

Before noon the next day she had knit up this very cute scarf:

Both my Mom and I were so surprised at how fast she had finished it! She really enjoyed knitting it, so my Mom gave her some more yarn. I wonder what she'll make next?

That girl is multi-talented like her mom.

What a talented young lady you have there. You are a good mom to encourage her to spend her time so productively. Have a great day!

Very cute! It is fun to see what future knitters and artists are doing when they are children.
