Broccoli Salad

I am participating in the Recipe Swap Box today. Here is a simple and quick salad recipe:

Broccoli Salad

Combine in a bowl:
2 heads of broccoli florets
1 cup raisins
1 cup sunflower seeds
½ small chopped red onion

Dressing:
3 teaspoons apple cider vinegar
¼ cup sugar
1 cup mayo

Beat dressing if necessary to make smooth. Pour dressing onto salad ingredients and toss. Enjoy. Best when eaten right away.

This sounds like a perfect summer recipe! Thanks for sharing - otherwise I would have missed out on your fabulous blog. I love the quilt you are working on with your sister. - Kathy

I love this salad, and your recipe looks simple and tasty. I usually fry up some bacon, dice it, and throw it in. It really adds. Thanks for the recipe.

I make this a lot in the summer. It's really good if you add cashews before serving. Delicious!
